Bookpile

Previously, I had an affiliate link in my reading list through which books could be ordered directly from Genialokal, but I have now removed it in favor of Bookpile.

Bookpile is a handy website created by Bodo Tasche. It allows you to search for books using their ISBN. When you select a book, a summary is displayed, along with a list of options for purchasing the book online or in stores. Bookpile attempts to determine the user's location to do this.

There's no tracking, no affiliate links, and the site looks great.

So, I quickly revamped my reading list and replaced the purchase link. Bookpile makes this straightforward; all it needs is the book's ISBN, which I have already stored in my profile. I simply append it to the URL:

bookpile.org/b/ISBN

I think the solution is really good, and I've implemented it for now. This eliminates my affiliate link, but I find it much more convenient, and let's face it, I never made a fortune from it anyway.

Definitely check out the site! If any bookstores are still missing, you can suggest them.
