Das ist das erste Mal, dass ich das bewusst mitbekomme: Die Mastodon-Instanz auf der ich unterwegs bin, ist down. Da das eine der Hauptinstanzen ist und die Probleme wohl beim Hoster liegen, dürften deren andere große Instanzen auch down sein. Das Echo darauf wird interessant.
Wäre es nicht so komplex und wieder mit Kosten verbunden, würde ich ja meine eigene Instanz aufsetzen…

Ich bin ja hier mit Kirby unterwegs und kann nicht auf dein tolles WP-Plugin zurückgreifen, sondern muss das selber in mein IndieConnector-Plugin einbauen, damit meine Seite hier als ActivityPub-Instanz funkt. Das wäre das Optimum.
Vielleicht schaffe ich das irgendwann mal. Ich habe noch keine so richtige Idee, wie ich sowas testen/debuggen könnte, ohne alle vollzuspammen. Wie machst du das?
